On this day 19 years ago, Freddie Mercury passed away after battling with HIV/AIDS for many years. His contribution, along with Queen to modern music was immense and had a profound effect on me growing up. All of my earliest memories involve music in some way and most of that music i remember is the music of Queen. As a way to mark this day and celebrate the life and career of a truly great man i will be streaming the Live Aid concert, Queen Rock Montreal and various little films and documentaries on Queen and Freddie later on today both in the room and at vertigomovietiem.http://livestream.com/vertigomovietiem
